The Hook & Line:  Let's get festive!

Royal William Yard’s seafood, bar and kitchen, The Hook and Line has added plenty of sparkle and some wonderful, winter warmers for the festive season. Surrounded by Plymouth Sound and with access to the Hook and Line’s own fishing boats, head chef, Amber Lau is cooking up some wonderfully fresh seafood delights this month.

New to the menu is the Hook and Line hearty fish pie, packed with a variety of locally hauled, flaky white fish, prawns and mussels, all in a rich, seasoned white sauce, bubbling with cheese topped mash - a seafood lovers delight!

Another new addition is the Hook & Line Divine Burger. Get your chops around this satisfyingly, delicious fishy take on a burger stack. Piled high with locally caught haddock in Hook and Line’s own breadcrumb, juicy scallops, king prawns, crisp lettuce, gherkin and chorizo relish, in a toasted brioche bun.

Ross Meyer, bar manager at the Hook and Line has also been busy creating some Christmas magic, with a selection of seasonal treats. The Spice Yard is a hot chocolate with sass! Made with spiced rum, crushed gingerbread and all the trimmings. The Snow Lift features decadent white, hot chocolate with mint liqueur and shards of after eight, absolutely spoiling us!

 

And if you’re looking for something a little more traditional, there’s a selection of seasonally spiced, mulled delights to inspire a carol or two on the way home. 

The Hook and Line is open, every day from breakfast to evening and taking bookings now.
